Welcome to Lescote Solution, developer of Redirect Hero for merchants who use the Shopify platform. Redirect Hero is owned and operated by Lescote Solution.
We respect your privacy, and we've written this policy in plain language so it's easy to understand exactly what we do — and don't — collect. By using Redirect Hero, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
The short version:
- We never see or store your Shopify username or password.
- We never collect or store your credit card or bank details — all billing is handled directly and securely by Shopify.
- We only collect the minimum data needed to detect broken links and manage redirects on your store.
- We never sell your data, to anyone, ever.
Personal Data We Process
Redirect Hero is available only to merchants who install it through the Shopify App Store. When you install the app, Shopify's secure authorization process ("OAuth") connects the app to your store — you are never asked to enter your Shopify username or password into Redirect Hero, and we never see or store it.
Lescote collects the following information:
Account & Store Information
When you install the app, Shopify shares basic store information with us so we can operate the app for you — such as your store domain, store name, contact email, and a secure access token that lets us make authorized API calls on your behalf (for example, to read your store's URLs and create redirects). We do not collect your name, phone number, or employer details unless you choose to give us this information directly, such as when contacting support.
Login Credentials
We do not collect your Shopify password or login credentials. App access is authorized entirely through Shopify's OAuth login flow. Redirect Hero never sees, requests, or stores your store password or any other login credential — this is not technically possible with how Shopify apps are installed.
Payment & Billing Information
We do not collect or store your credit card, debit card, or bank account details. All subscription billing for Redirect Hero is handled directly by Shopify through the Shopify Billing API. Your payment method is provided to and processed by Shopify, not by Lescote. We only receive basic subscription information from Shopify, such as your plan name and billing status, so we know which features to enable for your store.

Support & Other Communications
If you contact us for support, we'll collect whatever information you choose to share with us — such as your name, email address, and the details of your question — so we can help you. We use this only to respond to you and improve our support.
Device & Usage Information We Collect
Usage Data
We collect limited technical data about how the app is used within your Shopify admin — such as IP address, browser type, and the pages/features accessed — so we can diagnose issues and improve the app. This is not linked to your personal Shopify login in any way, since we never have access to it.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies within the app interface for essential functions, such as keeping you logged into the app session and remembering your preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some app features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.
How We Use This Data
To operate the app
We use the store information and access token described above to detect broken links, create redirects, and provide the features you see in your Redirect Hero dashboard.
To provide support
We use your contact details and messages to respond to support requests and keep you updated about the app.
Marketing (only with your consent)
We will only send you marketing communications if you've explicitly opted in. You can opt out at any time by emailing lescotesolution@gmail.com — doing so stops marketing messages while we continue providing the app's core functionality.
Security & monitoring
We monitor technical and access data to keep the app secure and to detect and prevent abuse.
When Is Your Data Shared?
We do not sell your data to anyone, under any circumstances.
We only share data with the service providers below, who help us run the infrastructure behind Redirect Hero, and only to the extent needed to provide the service to you:
Service Providers (Sub-processors)
- Digital Ocean — server hosting for the app
- Cloudflare Inc. — content delivery and security
- Help Scout — customer support ticketing
Note: if your app doesn't currently use email-marketing tools like Sendinblue or Mailerlite, we've removed them from this list below — please confirm which providers actually apply to Redirect Hero so this stays accurate.
We'll also share information if required by law, to respond to a legal request from a government or regulatory authority, or if Lescote is involved in a merger or acquisition — in which case the new entity must honor this same policy.
Data Retention
We keep your store's data only for as long as the app is installed. If you uninstall Redirect Hero, we delete your store's data within a reasonable period, except where we're legally required to retain limited records (such as basic transaction records for tax purposes) or where data has been anonymized for statistical purposes.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices, including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and restricted access controls, to protect the data we do hold. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe and limit access to it to those who need it to operate the app.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights such as the right to access, correct, delete, or export the data we hold about your store, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, just email us — we'll respond within one month.
